What an exhausting sweaty day, 180km! I was wanting to do 200km but the last leg of cycling uphill just ruined me, but 20km off off my target wasn't bad considering the morning I was blessed by an annoying headwind. Now, your probably wondering about how I saved a life from the title of his post, it really was nothing spectacular nor was the life I saved someone of major importance, it was more of a something, it was a small chick dyed pink just standing on the road marker just inches away from the tires of cars rushing by. I stopped, grabbed and returned the pink little guy to the owners in a shop beside the road, they indulged me with a free tea as gratuity - that was nice. I didn't have much time for resting today and totaling 8 hours of cycling on top of starting the day at 6 am writing this now is almost putting me to sleep in this much nicer hotel room than than I stayed at in Prambanan.  Tomorrow, if i make it to the top, will be almost certainly the most challenging feat i am going to attempt as Mount Bromo towers over the surrounding landscape at over 2500m, 400meters more than the Gothard Pass is Switzerland I climbed last year.
