I am suppose to be taking things easy as I really don't want to push my body into a state of sickness, however taking the painfully steep but scenic mountain pass running beside the gigantic volcano Rinjani instead of the easier going coastal road made me feel more alive than ever.
Dripping with sweat and needed to dismount some of the really steep climbs I made it to 1350meters above sea level with only 400 more to go to get over the pass.
Reaching the farming plateau close to the town of Sembalum as the sun was dropping behind Rinjani provided me with spectacular sights of the area, simply beautiful with healthy green near fluorescent foliage with volcanic sculpted mountains.
Again, like always its better the higher you get - for reference sake I am talking about altitude not state of mind.
This morning I got to check out two waterfalls that were pretty amazing, the pictures below are an accurate depiction of what it would be like if you we're there in person.

Started the morning off with an amazing waterfall.
What a way to have a nap.
