Martin was more than happy to take me around the city and up to his folks place up north also going to Helsingør where we walked around the castle. It was a cool little side trip to see some places around Copenhagen.
Whilst here I caught up with only a few of the dozen people I would have liked to see but because my time here was short and people had made plans I was only able to catch up with a handful of people; I had a night out with James (who I knew from Tignes) where I got pretty drunk and honestly don't remember the cycle home but I did however manage to accidentally get 300 kroners and 2 free beers because when ordering drinks and withdrawing some money my card was declined – score!. It was a great night out but because I was so exhausted from the last couple of days cycling i needed to go back to martins and sleep.
The following night I caught up with Fanny and Sophia (also from Tignes) and had a drink with them. They are caught up in their own lives, although I still enjoyed myself I found that I couldn't relate to this, well, obviously; in two weeks I've been on the road for 7 years.
I spent a lot of time with Martin who I would now consider an awesome friend, I'd love to see him again soon.
I was suppose to see Andrea too who I met last time I was in copenhagen who after a night out took me back to her place in Lund - a night out in Denmark and waking in Sweden - but unfortunately she was feeling under the weather or something so no fun times with her.
Leaving tomorrow I feel like I missed out on seeing everyone I wanted to but I'm sure there will be another time.
Still Copenhagen is one of my favourite city’s in Europe.
