It was difficult to leave Kuta as I really liked this place but I needed to head back in the direction of Bali for a Visa run flight in a couple of days where ill spend 4hours in Singapore before flying back to Bali.
Due to the lack of sleep over the past few days I was more fatigued than ever and really struggled to climb the steep hills along the coast - I did find the surf spot that everyone in town was raving about where I chilled on the beach and attempted to catch some zzz's; I really didn't try what so ever as there were many beautiful western girls to chat to along the beach front.
I had my fun chatting to them but then set off as the rain clouds came in and everyone left.
At this point I wasn't doing all that well, I was once again feeling ill but just at this moment when I was looking for a place to pitch my tent and recover a local man chased me down on his scooter and invited me to his home.
Speaking six languages Rudy is an English teacher in this small village known for weaving and wanted me to converse with his students, unfortunately I was incapable of doing this as my head was spinning in circles and I needed rest. However after a hearty feed I promised Rudy I would return in a couple of days when I have to cycle once again across Lombok to make my way to Sumbawa.
Him helping me out is exactly what I needed and I just love it when things just work out as they do to benefit me greatly - thank you ever so much Rudy!
