7000km I hit today, all the way from Oslo in Norway. No-way right?
I covered some decent distance but although I was suppose to follow the coast I somehow managed to miss the turn off and accidentally went through the mountains instead. It perhaps added 15 or so kilometers to the trip but it was worth it; again, like many of the days of cycling in turkey I was greeted with waves of waves, this always puts a smile on my face and i love the acknowledgement, like I said earlier, I've cycled 7000km!
I met some great people today but Ill write in the caption below the photos below.
However, one thing worth mentioning is that I ran into two Turkish cyclists who were touring for the weekend. I went to the other side of the road to greet them and I was astonished that they new about my blog, they had heard about me probably from the cycling association network way back in Kesan, that's fantastic. Unfortunately I wasn't able to chat long because I wanted to cover some distance today and that I did 132km. Tomorrow ill try and do the same, weather depending.
I'll certainly sleep well tonight, like in did last night, in my tent on a rocky surface surrounded by gum trees(?) beside the highway.
Places along the coast are getting very touristy.
I never thought that i could by my fuel for my stove at a pharmacy
Buying some fruit i got a bunch of things for free, including some dried figs, man were they delicious
This old man tried chatting to me for a bit, i just wanted the photo.
After a filling lunch with these guys.
These to had heard about me and this blog, it was great to meet them.
