My time around Stockholm was fantastic, I got to catch up with old friends including Susanne in Uppsala who I worked with in Tignes, France many years ago. I spent 2 nights with her and Gustav her boyfriend where we chatted for hours on end about old times and my adventures. We ate well, crayfish and a swedish type of mushrooms and On one of he evenings i cooked up some Asian food for us all too. Susanne is a fantastic girl, simply the most enthusiastic and funny girl I know who does everything with a smile. Having not seen her in 4 years and having worked with her for 3 seasons I have missed her a lot.
Returning to Stockholm I stayed again with My but before meeting up with her I went to meet Rebecca for a cup of coffee, I first met her in Barcelona where I cooked up a meal for her there and so every time I pass through Stockholm I catch up with her, but always too briefly.
This time was better though, we had coffee, beer and later went back to her place to cook her dinner that was rather disappointing. Still we got along like old times and as we both like photography she showed me some tricks in photoshop that I didn't know about.
Rebecca as you'll see in the pics below is just absolutely stunningly beautiful and just an all round great chick.
I'm going to stop myself here and ask a question - do you understand why I love Sweden? Being able to catch up with these beautiful people and meeting others along the way; I could live here.
I spent 2 nights at My's place wandering around the city on the Monday when the weather was blue skies and sun and also caught up with Henric for a short time who I travelled with for some time on a boat between central and south america through the San Blas islands.
The following day I left My and Anina's place for Gothenberg getting the bus which is a hell of a lot more comfortable than the train and has the added benefit of wifi onboard.
I arrived back in Gothenburg quite late at night where I headed to Jennifer's place where I spent the night.
Unfortunately I didn't get to catch up with everyone I wanted to as I was short on time, I have to continue this cycle trip before the winter starts.
