Terrain Profile

Just two days ago I mentioned how crazy small the world is. Another instance today just when I was leaving Creston I almost ran over a guy, this guy was Pat, I worked with him tree planting this year. If I had left town just 10 seconds beforehand I would have missed him. We caught up for a little while then went our seperate directions...really? WTF, the chances of that were slim to none.
I getting a tired from all this cycling, especially my ass, my seat isnt the most comfortable and unfortunately there isnt an alternative way of sitting on it, I may need a rest day soon.
I often pull into the rest stop to have a snack or make myself some lunch and most of the time I have people talk to me about my trip; this one fella, Bob and I got chatting for quite some time where he gave me a beer – yay, more free stuff :).
Along the highway there were more beautiful lakeside views that I got snap happy with but I havent put together the pics just as yet so whether they came out alright we will have to wait and see.
I set up camp just before hitting Cranbrook at precisely 1000 m in altitude beside highway 3.
