Yet again I'll start this post off like every other post I've written around this time the past few years: there we have it, yet another season of planting over where I have worked my ass off to make the money necessary for the next 9 months of travel.
This year was a little different as I had changed to another tree planting company that was far more lucrative and organized than previous years.
I have now totaled close to 750,000 planted trees since I started this line of work 6 years ago.
It has enabled me to venture to the far corners of the earth by a multitude of means of transportation but none more so than cycling.
From the day I finished work to the moment of writing I have had a hell of a lot if fun. A week of visiting old friends, making new ones and experienced the full blown kindness of the best mankind had to offer through the epic landscapes of west Canada.
Hitching from the Albertan side of the Rocky Mountains I made my way though jasper national park, Kamloops, Kelowna, Whistler and Vancouver.
Spending as little money as I could I made it for my flight towards Asia once again where I will soon meet up with my girlfriend Marlieke.
The pictures below will show some of the highlights of my travels to van. Enjoy!

Now, who doesn’t like fireworks?
This Swiss family really helped me out when hitching to Vancouver from Whistler.
