As upsetting as it was to leave my dream girl in Lima I had to get my flight, all day I've been regretting it but it is for the best, there would have been no way to travel in south America for long before I ran out of money.
It certainly been an interesting day though, having to fly twice, catch two buses and even begging for a ride across the border into Canada.
The weather differences I encountered over the last 36 has been nuts too, leaving Lima where it was beach weather to snow in Niagara falls where I spent the early hours of the morning walking about the what seemed to me at the time as an abandoned theme park, part because Niagara Falls is incredibly touristy where pretty much everything is theme park or casino oriented.
Toronto where I had 5 hours to kill was almost unbearably cold, the sun was out but that did little good to keep me warm instead I found refuse in coffee shops with free Internet.
I'm currently writing this on the last leg of the journey to Montreal where I'll be staying with Alex - a planting buddy of mine, I just hope he is home because looking outside it looks like inter possibility of dying from frostbite is considerably high.
I'm missing the hot weather and the hottest girl I've ever met.
One thing I forgot to mention was when I was crossing into Canada from the US side of Niagara I got a ride with a couple I met on the flight, I didn't want to hold the back from getting home for if I had any issues with my visa so I asked them to drop me off at the duty free section. As it turned out walking across the bridge was impossible so I had to beg a couple to take me across the border hoping no issues would pop up at immigration. Thankfully it didn't and they were kind enough to drop me in the outskirts of Niagara Falls in the snow.
