I have spent a fair bit of time in Ecuador and I thought it was about time to move on and see somewhere new. I took the 3 pm bus from Montañita to Guayaquil after not doing much in the morning other than treating myself to a hot shower although the bathroom was infested with Mosquitos - probably the same ones that ate me alive last night, the little pricks. Arriving in Guayaquil with 2 girls from Israel who I met on the bus I went to meet with Jessica who arrived a day earlier, we were all headed in the same direction and we got the later bus in the evening for the 9 hour bus journey to Mancora in Peru.
