Another fantastic day around the oldest island there there where great vistas were to be viewed, we had a bit of time messing around on two of the islands beaches where later I put together a few cool photoshop ideas that I wanted to attempt – shown below Before landing onto this island we were giving postcards to fill out writing what we wanted about our experience with Galapagos, we then had to 'post' these cards into the oldest mailbox in the world.
Used by Pirates and fisherman this mailbox was established in the 1400's –the way this works is that you address the postcard to yourself and some other visitor who lives nearby to your address will find your card and deliver it to you 'in person'. - its a neat little concept but since I dont really have an address it wont work so well for me...
We did some snorkeling around some areas that we were suppose to see hammerhead sharks but disappointingly did not because of how rough the water was. Although today for the first time I got to swim with a bunch of leatherback turtles, this really was great fun and managed to use one of the German girl's underwater camera to get some pics albeit a bit blurry.
Hopping back onto the boat lunch was served where again like for every meal we got rice... I found this really annoying as we all spent a hell of a lot of money for this tour and getting rice with pasta seemed a little half assed.
The boat then set sail back to Puerto Ayora where we got a quick glimpse of some dolphins that jumped alongside the boat. I taught Anna some things about digital photography getting her to understand how to use her camera that never is easy to explain – but I didnt mind.
Later we got dinner (rice again) and had a few hours in town to check our email and have a few drinks before boarding the boat again to sleep.
I told a few jokes to the Aussies board and managed to score a beer teaching one of the crew members a magic trick with cards.
Tomorrow we dont sail anywhere just tie up the loose ends, saying goodbye to everyone and paying our bills, and that’s when the tour finishes.
Many hours of photoshop but managed to put this together – i reckon it turned out great!

Love this pic, it almost looks like a mirror split this pic in half
